The stem cell is the cornerstone of clinical research and regenerative medicine, which will be a valuable resource for disease research, drug discovery and extremely important in disease prediction, diagnosis and treatment. The standardized construction of stem cell repository and information management system will improve the quality of stem cell related humoral and tissue samples collection, processing, storage and distribution, and will also promote new methods, techenologies and concepts development. Established in 2015, Department of Biobank, Shanghai East Hospital, Tongji University School of Medicine, is the first standard biobank in China, which integrates stem cell used in the clinical research with tissue and body fluid resources applied in basic research. At present, there are five main functions of biobank, which are the cell seed bank, the master cell bank, the working cell bank, the cell product bank and the third party cell storage center. We hope to provide qualified samples not only for stem cell clinical research and application of our hospital, but also for scientific research, clinical, drug screening of universities, research institutes, enterprises and institutions.%干细胞资源是干细胞临床研究、再生医学研究的基石,它将成为疾病研究、药物研发的宝贵资源,在疾病预测、诊断及治疗上变得极为重要.干细胞资源库及信息管理系统的标准化建设将提高干细胞相关的体液、组织等样本的采集、处理、贮存与分发等过程中的质量,也将推动一系列新方法、新技术、新理念的涌现与发展.上海市东方医院(同济大学附属东方医院)生物样本库创建于2015年,是国内首家服务于临床研究的干细胞和基础研究的组织、体液等资源为一体的标准化样本库.目前着力打造了细胞种子库、主细胞库、工作库、产品库、第三方细胞贮存中心5大功能的干细胞资源库,以期为我院干细胞临床研究和应用服务,亦可为高校、科研院所、企事业单位等提供科研、临床、药物筛选等需求的合格样本.
