Considering of that, optimization design was applied with physical programming. Results of physical programming were compared with the traditional linear weighted-sum optimization. It is feasible to apply physical programming method to uncertainty optimization design of multi-disc wet brake. It meets the actual needs better than the linear weighted-sum method.
