Based on special application for electronic ballast applied to metal halide (MH) lamps, a new topology for electronic ballast is proposed, which integrates two power stages of DC/DC and DC/AC to a novel single stage of DC/AC inverter for MH lamps. The principle and controlling strategy for new circuit are put forward; the principle of soft switching is developed; and the designing formulas of the resonance elements parameter are provided. Simulation results of new circuit show that it has good performance and its efficiency is about 95%. A prototype of output power 200W has been made up and the experimental results are agreed with the theoretic results and the simulation results and also show that the new circuit has many merits such as lower cost, low EMI, high efficiency and so on.%针对金属卤化物灯用镇流器的特殊要求,提出了一种适用于电子镇流器的新拓扑,将DC/DC和DC/AC两功率级整合成一级DC/AC逆变器,形成了一种新型金属卤化物灯用单级逆变器.阐述了新电路的工作原理和控制策略;介绍了新电路的软开关原理;给出了谐振元件参数设计公式.对新电路的仿真结果表明其具有优越的性能,效率约95%.搭建了输出功率为200W的样机,实验结果与理论计算、仿真结果相符,验证了新电路低成本、低EMI、高效率等特点.
