As a member of the TGF-β superfamily, GDF15 is widely distributed in mammalian tissues. Induced by multiple factors such as hypoxia, inflammation, radiation, acute injury or cancerization, GDF15 can play its role through both SMAD and non-SMAD pathways. According to the recent studies, the function of GDF15 on angiogenesis and bone metabolism are diverse under different mi-croenvironments. This article reviewed the effects of GDF15 on angiogenesis and bone metabolism under different microenvironments and its related signaling pathways.%生长分化因子15作为转化生长因子-β超家族中的一员,在人体组织中广泛表达。
