Ingot tong is one important equipment in blooming production line of rolling plant of Pangang Group Changcheng Special Steel Company, used for demoulding,charging and discharging of ingots.It’s very backward that its speed now is regulated by DC motor through channeling resistance while it operates in a severe condition of high temperature, strong shaking, and large amounts of dust. Therefore, 6 sets of electrical driving systems as for lifting, traverse movement (2 sets),longitudinal movement,rotation,and opening and closing are proposed.
