By analyzing on the problems existed in the EAF KSD electrode regulator and the equipment abort caused by the problem at the No.2 Steel-making Works of SISG, the methods and their own merits that frequency conversion of electrode regulator solved the present problem have been related, the system configuration of frequency conversion electrode regulator transformed has been introduced compendiously, and the effect and benefit after transformation have been summarized.%通过分析韶钢二钢厂电炉KSD电极调节器存在问题以及其引起的设备故障原因，阐述了变频电极调节器解决存在问题的原理和其本身的优点，简要介绍了使用变频调节器改造的系统配置，并对改造后的效果进行总结.
