Sandy pebble filled square thin-walled steel tube column specimens were tested under different compaction factors by using pressure testing machine,which analysed the damage form,load-displacement curve and ultimate bearing capacity and so on.The results showed that failure mode of all sandy pebble filled square thin-walled steel tube columns were almost local buckling instability destruction near the end;the growth rate of bearing capacity under compaction factors within the range of 86%to 92%was greater than specimen within the range of 81%to 86%,namely the interaction effect was obvious between thin-walled steel tube and sandy pebble.%利用压力试验机完成了不同压实系数下内填砂卵石薄壁方钢管柱轴压静力性能试验,分析了不同压实系数下各试件的破坏形态、荷载位移曲线以及极限承载力等数据.试验结果表明:内填不同压实系数的砂卵石薄壁方钢管柱破坏模式均为局部屈曲失稳破坏,且屈曲位置基本都靠近端部;内填砂卵石的压实系数在86%~92%时,试件承载力增长速率要明显大于压实系数在81%~86%的试件承载力增长速率,即薄壁钢管与砂卵石的相互作用效果较明显.
