The complicated geological condition, dense faults, and seam failures cause huge residue which are difficult to be mined out. Direction change driving used on 22113 working face has realized the safe, efficient, and reasonable mining on the corner coal an%针对西山镇城底矿由于地质条件复杂，断层密集，煤层破坏严重，造成的大量残留煤炭资源无法开采的技术难题，在22113综放工作面采用变向推进方法，实现了边角煤的安全、高效、合理回采，取得了良好的技术效果和显著的经济效益。
