后工业城市与观光工厂发展的研究--以台湾“巧克力共和国”观光工厂为例

         

摘要

观光工厂近年来成为许多城市空间与产业转型的代表,它一方面宣示了后工业城市时代的来临,另一方面配合城市产业的进阶与转型,迎合了观光与游憩的新城市需求。在西方国家与日本等城市的经验中,许多城市的转型发展过程都透过土地的置换与建筑的改造,变更原有的都市工业土地作为城市市民观光与休闲游憩使用,以提升市民的生活质量与居住环境。这个新的模式,被定义为观光工厂,它是藉由转换产业知识为旅游资源的一种模式。以台湾推动观光工厂作为主轴,介绍了台湾推动观光工厂的背景、政策内容与过程,并说明它的效益。其中引用宏亚食品巧克力观光工厂为例,说明观光工厂对城市发展的重要性。%Tourism factory has become the representative of transforming of space and industries in many cities. The tourism factory, on one hand, implicitly announces a new coming age ofpost-industrial city, and on the other hand, it actively pushes the urban spatial structure transformation to meet the civilization satisfaction of tourism and recreation. In many experiences of urban development from western countries and Japan, many cities witness a process of city repositioning by land replacement and building renovation, to remark the brown zone as an attraction of tourism and leisure, for prompting the life quality of civilization and living environment. This new development progress is deifned as tourism factory, a model of transferring the industrial knowledge to tourism resources. This paper tries to illustrate the development condition of tourism factory in Taiwan, through introducing the background, policy inclusion and evolution, and to evaluate its performance on urban development. Take the Republic of Chocolate Factory of Hunya Foods as an example, this paper also tries to explain the important role of tourism factory to stimulate urban beneift.
