According to meridian theory “diagnosis and treatment based on an overall analysis of meridian” in TCM, acupoints were selected in the affected region, nerve root or along the meridians. Two hundred cases of lumbocrural pain were treated with electrical acupuncture and point injectiion,157 cases were cured,32 were efective and 7 were ineffective. The total effective rate was 94.5%.
