Objective To explore the mechanism of botulinum toxin type A ( BTX-A) in treatment of migraine of rats.Methods The migraine rat models were established and then were respectively given subcutaneous injection of BTX -A (BTX-A group) and normal saline (NS group); additionally, the healthy rats were selected as the control group .The contents of calcitonin gene related peptide ( CGRP) and substance P ( SP) were detected by radioimmunoassay .Results The contents of CGRP and SP in the NS group were higher than those of the control group , but they decreased significantly in the BTX-A group as compared with those of the NS group (all P<0.05).Conclusion BTX-A inhibits SP and CGRP releasing from trigeminal sensory pathways , which may be one of the mechanisms of BTX-A in treatment of migraine .%目的:研究A型肉毒毒素( BTX-A)治疗偏头痛的机理。方法建立偏头痛大鼠模型,分别应用BTX-A皮下注射( BTX-A组)及生理盐水注射(生理盐水组)治疗,并设立健康对照(对照组)。采用放射免疫法测定各组降钙素基因相关肽(CGRP)和P物质(SP)含量。结果生理盐水组CGRP、SP含量高于对照组(P均<0.05), BTX-A组低于生理盐水组( P均<0.05)。结论 BTX-A抑制三叉神经感觉通路CGRP及SP释放可能是其治疗偏头痛大鼠的机制之一。
