Using the sample-plot survey method, the genetic resources and distribution of "Taibaiqiyao" in Taibai Mountains in Shaanxi province were studied. 111 sample squares in the 37 ex- periment plots were set made totally in east and west of Taibai Mountains at 400-3500m altitude. The results showed that there were 91 species of Taibiqiyao belonging to 37 families and 64 genera in Taibai area. The most widely distributed family is Ranunculaceae. The different parts of "Taibaiqiyao', such as root, rhizome,pseudobulb, tuberous root, whole grass, fruit, bark, filament, leaf and stern all have medicinal value and can be used as a herbal medicine. Application of clustering a- nalysis method, "Taibaiqiyao" in Taibai Mountains were clustered into 13 types. The results has the scientific value and practical significance in germplasm resources protection and sustainable use.%在太白山自然保护区,用样地调查法对"太白七药"种质资源进行了系统调查,共设置调查样地37个,调查样方111个。研究表明,"太白七药"在东太白(太白山主峰以东)和西太白(太白山主峰以西)海拔400~3 500m的区域均有分布。陕西省太白山自然保护区共有"太白七药"91种,隶属32科64属,其中毛茛科分布最广;"太白七药"的根、根状茎、假鳞茎、块根、带根全草、果实、树皮、丝状体、叶、全草和茎等部位具有药用价值,可以作为中草药加以利用。
