Lexical Semantic Ambiguity in English

cqvip:This paper introduces the classification of ambiguity in English, analyzes its causes especially from the lexical semantic perspective by illustrating two types of lexical ambiguity attributable to the existence of homonymy and polysemy. It also provides suggestions on how to eliminate lexical ambiguity.
