This paper introduces the role of calculating design second flow in the whole building water supply design and expounds three commonly used calculation methods. It then discusses the calculation formula with probabilistic method and the notes, and finally introduces one calculating case to verify the formula.%介绍了建筑给水设计秒流量在整个建筑给水设计中所起到的作用，阐述了建筑给水设计秒流量的3种常用的计算方法，讨论了概率法计算建筑给水设计秒流量的计算公式及注意事项，引入了一个计算实例对公式进行了验证。
