RCT-β Thickness Gauge Has Been Developed

摘要

The RCT-β thickness gauge is a non-contact type instrument used for measuringthickness,which is based on the phenomenon that the β-ray beam from a Sr-90 radioactive sourceis scattered and absorbed in part by a material during transmitting the material,and thus attenuat-ed in intensity.The degree of the attenuation in the intensity of the β-ray corresponds to the thick-ness of the material.The β-ray thickness gauge basing on this principle has been developed,whichis used to measure the thickness of materials.
