微带线馈电的宽带单层贴片天线

         

摘要

The microstrip patch antenna has found wide applications in radar. This paper presents a novel cavity-backed t wideband micro.strip single layer patch antenna. The radiating patch is fed_by a microstrip line. In order to increase bandwidth, two kinds of patches in different shapes are employed. The first kind of patch is E-shaped. Simulations and measurements show thai this kind of antenna can realize 45% impedance bandwidth for VSWR=2, but its pattern bandwidth is narrow. To suppress cro.ss-polarization, the second modified E-shape patch is proposed, resulting from cutting four slots on the E-shaped patch. It can achieve 14% impedance bandwidth for VSWR=l. 5, with iow cross-polarization of less than ?15. OdB across the operation band. A C-band demo array of 8X16 elements has been fabricated and tested. The measurement results show that this array antenna exhibits low cross-polarization level and high radiation efficiency within a relative bandwidth of 17. 9%.%微带贴片天线已广泛应用于雷达系统,文中介绍了一种新型背腔式单层微带贴片天线,辐射贴片采用微带线馈电,为增加工作带宽,提供了两种不同的贴片形状,第一种是E形贴片,仿真及测试结果表明,此种单元在驻波比优于2的条件下可实现45%的阻抗带宽,但该单元的波瓣带宽较窄.为抑制交叉极化,通过在E形贴片上开四个槽,得到了第二种改进的E形贴片.该单元可实现14%的频带内驻波比优于1.5,同时交叉极化优于-15dB.对C波段8×16单元实验小阵的测试结果表明,该天线在17.9%的频段内具有良好的交叉极化性能及较高的工作效率.
