Experimental and theoretical study on rapid transient nucleated boiling

         

摘要

<正> A laser heater has been used to impose a pulsed high power laser beam on a metal film immersed in liquid to generate a very high rate of temperature rise up to 9.3 ×106K/s in the metal film. The rapid transient boiling phenomena have been observed and the temperature variations in the metal film have been measured. Theoretical calculations have been carried out with the fluctuation nucleation theory and the heat conduction theory to compare with the experimental results, and some results are reported.
