This paper builds a physical generalized model of submerge ship chamber ship lift with scale of 1:20 to study the impact of chamber tank area and ship chamber's velocity to hydrodynamic characteristics of the submerge ship chamber ship lift.The results show that the increase ofβ (ratio of the difference between the area of chamber and chamber tank to the area of chamber) can lower the water surface fluctuation in chamber tank,the maximum gradient of water surface in approach channel and chamber tank,make mooring conditions of ship chamber better.Considering the project cost increases withβ,the recommendedβ is 1.24.%通过比尺为1:20的船厢出入水物理模型,系统研究船池面积和船厢入水速度对下水式升船机船厢出入水水动力特性的影响.结果表明:船池与船厢面积之差与船厢面积比β的增大可有效降低船厢入水过程船池内水面壅高、船池、引航道内水面最大坡降,改善船池内船厢停泊条件,同时考虑β的增大将引起工程投资的增加,建议船池与船厢间隙面积与船厢面积的最佳比值β为1.24.
