The quench system in a 240 kt/a ethylene plant of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company, PetroChina, was simulated using Aspen Plus process simulation software based on the practical composition of pyrolysis gas, the effect of the variation in py-rolysis stock composition on the quench system was investigated, and according to the simulation results, the system was revamped. The results showed that after revamping, the circulation temperature and amount of quench water were decreased, and the emulsification of quench water was effectively inhibited.%采用Aspen Plus流程模拟软件,根据实际生产中的裂解气组成数据,模拟了中国石油兰州石化公司24万t/a乙烯装置的急冷系统,分析了原料组成变化对急冷系统的影响,并以模拟计算结果为依据,对急冷系统进行了改造.结果表明,装置改造后,降低了急冷水的返塔温度和循环量,有效地抑制了急冷水乳化现象的发生.
