In the system of Visible Light Communication (VLC) using OFDM, we study the transmission effects in multipath fading channels. We transmit audio file and text file in multipath fading channels by 16-QAM and OFDM respectively, comparing the bit error rate (BER) between 16-QAM and OFDM. When transmitted the text file, the variation of the BER with fading coefficient and path delay value were analyzed respectively. The results showed that VLC-OFDM system in multipath fading channels can mitigate multipath effects, reduce the BER and obtain more satisfactory communication quality.%研究可见光通信OFDM系统在多径衰落信道中的传输性能.分别使用16-QAM和OFDM调制对声音和文本信源在多径衰落信道中进行传输,比较不同调制方式的传输效果.传输文本文件时,分析了误码率随衰落系数以及路径时延变化的关系.结果表明:可见光通信OFDM系统在多径衰落信道中传输,能克服多径效应,降低误码率,获得较为满意的通信质量.
