单模-多模-单模光纤结构研究进展

     

摘要

The multimode interference theory based on singlemode-multimode-singlemode (SMS) fiber strucrure is discussed. In addition, the research advancement on SMS which applied to fiber optical communication and fiber optical sensors is overviewed. The significant value and great potential applications of fiber sensors based on SMS fiber structure are confirmed. Finally, the questions needed to resolve and the development trends of the SMS fiber structure are discussed.%论述了单模-多模-单模(SMS)光纤结构的多模干涉基本理论,并从通信和传感两个方面,综述了国内外SMS光纤结构的研究进展及所取得的成果,证实了SMS光纤结构在传感领域的重要价值和巨大应用潜力.最后介绍了基于SMS光纤结构传感器现阶段有待解决的问题,并对其未来发展趋势进行了展望.
