Objective To investigate a safe, comfort and effective method of fixation for oral endotracheal intubation. Methods From May 2010 to November 2011, 64 patients underwent orotracheal intubation were randomly divided into two groups: group A and group B. The traditional fixation of butterfly-shaped adhesive for fixation was adopted in group A, and the improved fixation of butterfly-shaped adhesive for fixation was adopted in group B. The incidence of displacement, degree of comfort and incidence of skin complications of the two groups were compared.
