In the process of realizing socialist reform and transition to the socialist construction, the new regime, set up the transformation goal of comprehensively organizing the society, developing the collective economy and realizing the collectivization of production and life, and tried to launch a social revolution of building urban people's communes in the streets of the old city of Shanghai. This paper, starting from the urban practice and political conception of the year 1958, investigates the power structure behind the Shi-ku-men community transformation, the comprehensive housing property change from the private to the public, and the establishment of multi-functional community for mass production. Based on this, it preliminarily analyses and evaluates the change of urban space and social characteristics as a result of the urban transformation in this particular historical period after the founding of the People's Republic of China.%在实现社会主义改造并向社会主义建设转变的过程中,新中国制定了全面组织社会、发展集体经济、实现生产、生活集体化的城市改造目标,并曾试图在上海旧市区的里弄社区中发动一场面向建立城市人民公社的社会革命.以上述的历史性城市变革为背景,以1958年前后自上而下的城市改造构想与街区实践为主线,通过探讨石库门里弄社区改造背后的权力架构、全面由私向公转变的房屋产权变化、建立为大生产服务的多功能社区三方面内容,对建国后这一特定历史时期的城市改造所引发的城市空间和社会特质变化进行初步的分析评估.
