图书馆在其发展过程中经历了几个不同历史时期:早期民主开放的文化、议事综合体;中期知识精英自我封闭的知识储存器;当代以民主平等为基础的公共图书馆运动.进入21世纪以来,数字技术带来的虚拟空间对传统的场所感的冲击、多元文化的融合对世界文明发展的促进以及文化场所的多功能性都是当代图书馆发展面临的挑战.以近十年新建的三座图书馆为例,从中寻找线索、总结经验,由此提炼出当代图书馆发展特点,即关注场所精神、强化纽带作用、融合多种文化活动.%In the course of its development, the library has experienced several different historical periods. It was successively democratic open complex combined with museum and conference in the early period, knowledge storage belonging to the intellectual elite in the medieval period, and contemporary public library movement based on democratic equality. Since the 21st century, the virtual space of the digital technology has brought impact on the traditional sense of place, multicultural integration promoted the development of world civilization, and cultural sites of versatility been the challenge for the library development. This paper with the cases of three new libraries in the past ten years, looks for clues and sums up experiences, so as to put forward characteristics of contemporary library development, that is, the concern of place, the strengthening of linkage role, and the integration of the various cultural activities.
