On Translation Strategies from the Perspectives of Thematic Progression

Thematic structure is an important grammatical device to organize the text,which is also an important aspect of discourse analysis. And the-matic progression plays an important role in the analysis of textual cohesion and organization. This paper mainly discusses the theory of thematic progression and its application to translation between English and Chinese.
