20世纪文化哲学研究的一个重要转向就是人类学转向，许多文化人类学家大都通过譬如田野调查和民族志的途径开展研究，甚至亲自生活在一个社会或者地域很长一段时间，参与、关注这一群体的社会文化生活，他们的研究也就更多关注于某一社会具体的特征、社会组织结构、文化模式、个体行为等，而不是以自己所身处的社会作为判断标准来进行简单理解。美国著名文化人类学家拉尔夫·林顿（Ralph Linton，1893-1953）通过对社会中人的身份、文化模式的具体而细微的分析，研究文化、社会与个体之间的关系以及文化模式对个人人格的支配性影响，形成了具有其显著特征的文化哲学理论。本文拟从其文化哲学中文化与人格形成的内在关系这一视角，解读其独特的文化哲学思想。%the study on the philosophy of culture in the 20th century an important steering is anthropology,many cultural an-thropologists are mostly conducted by such as field survey and ethnographic research,even live in a community or region for a long time,to participate in social and cultural life,pay attention to this group,their research is more focused on the specific characteristics of a society,social organization structure,cultural patterns,individual behavior and so on,rather than live in their own society,as a criterion for easy to understand.Famous American cultural anthropologist Ralph,Linton (Ralph Linton,1893 -1953)by means of group social human identity,the cultural pattern of analysis,the research of the relationship between culture,society and individual, and the dominant effect on the personality culture mode,formed its own has the remarkable characteristics of the cultural philosophy theory.This thesis from the relationship between culture and personality formation within cultural philosophy theory perspective,inter-pret the cultural philosophy theory.
