The background of application of low resistance grounding at neutral point of the 110 kV power distribution grid is presented. The selection basis for the 110 kV distribu-tion system at Fangchenggang Steel Base of Wuhan Steel and the basic principle for equip-ment type selection of the small resistance system are explained.
