Hippo信号通路调控机制及生理学作用的研究进展

         

摘要

The molecular mechanism of organ size control is a mystery of developmental biology.Somehow,the disco-very of the highly conserved Hippo signaling pathway has clarified the puzzling problem to a certain degree.The Hippo signaling pathway restricts organ size via regulating cell proliferation and apoptosis.The abnormal activity of this signaling pathway will lead to tumor occurrence.Till now,the core members of Hippo signaling pathway have been investigated more clearly,but its upstream signal and downstream transcriptional regulation is still unknown.And the regulation mechanism of Hippo signaling pathway,the interaction between it and other signaling pathways and its physiology function in organ size,tumor development and stem cell proliferation and self-renewal is important basis for the development of the field.In the future,the research of Hippo signaling pathway will develop in the direction of identifying new regulatory factors,and discovering new physiological functions.%器官大小调控的分子机制是一个重要的发育生物学未解之谜.高度保守的Hippo信号通路的发现,在一定程度上阐明了这个令人困惑的问题.Hippo信号通路通过调控细胞增殖和细胞凋亡控制器官大小,其活性异常会导致肿瘤的发生.目前,Hippo信号通路的核心成员研究比较清楚,而其上游信号和下游转录调控仍不为人熟知.且Hippo信号通路的调控机制,它与其他信号通路之间的相互作用及其在器官大小、肿瘤发生和发展、干细胞增殖和自我更新等过程中的生理学作用,是该领域发展的重要基础.未来,有关Hippo信号通路的研究将向鉴定新的调控因子、发现新的生理学功能方向发展.
