This article describes the Zanzibar medical and health conditions, including health care resource profile, the utilization of health facilities, local health and hospital status, China's contribution to medical aid Zanzibar and the local medical and health development goals. Chinese medical team is helping with the people of Zanzibar reach the UN Mil ennium Development Goals planned health objectives for the medical and health services in Zanzibar has made important contributions.%本文介绍了坦桑尼亚桑给巴尔地区医疗卫生状况包括医疗卫生资源概况、医疗卫生设施的利用情况、当地卫生状况及医院现况、中国援桑给巴尔医疗队的贡献及当地医疗卫生事业的发展目标。中国医疗队正帮助桑给巴尔人民一起达到联合国千禧年发展目标计划的卫生目标，为桑给巴尔的医疗卫生事业作出了重要贡献。
