近代城市图书馆事业发展述评--以武汉为中心

摘要

近代中国城市图书馆事业取得了不错的发展，特别是在1927-1937的“黄金十年”，城市图书馆事业发展迅猛。武汉三镇的图书馆种类多样、分布均衡、覆盖面广、管理明晰、服务周全，影响波及全省乃至全国。作为“公共文化空间”的图书馆不仅影响了市民的文化生活，而且对近代城市的发展转型具有重要作用。%〔Abstract〕 In the modern China, Library causes also made a good development. Especially in 1927-1937, the“golden period”of Nanjing national government rule, the rapid development of libraries, libraries in Wuhan was variety and balanced distribution, coverage, management clear, comprehensive services, affecting the province and the country. As a “public cultural space”, the library not only affects people’s cultural life, but also plays an important role on the development of modern city transformation.
