To provide stable evaluation of a description of a product quickly.SOLUTION: A description evaluation method causes a computer to perform: a processing step for making simple sentences which makes a description a simple sentence as an evaluation request of the description attached to a product is received; a simple sentence unit evaluation step for evaluating whether or not the content of the simple sentence follows legal regulations at least related to descriptive expressions of the product every sentence by using a model obtained by machine learning in advance; and a result display data creation step which acquires the sentence corresponding to the evaluation result by the processing step for making simple sentences and creates result display data which can display the sentence as the simple sentence is selected on a screen displaying the description with reference to a definition table associating the sentence related to appropriateness of the description of the product with each evaluation result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
