荀昌荣图书馆学思想及其实践评析

摘要

荀昌荣先生是新中国第一代图书馆学理论家、教育家与实干家，为中国图书馆事业的发展做出了突出贡献。他不仅在理论研究上取得了很大成就，诸如倡导反思图书馆职能，提出“文献信息交流”说，重建学科体系结构；而且在图书馆事业实践中也做出了很大成绩，诸如积极推动图书馆建设，大力发展图书情报专业教育，长期引导图书情报事业。%Mr. Xun Changrong is a famous Chinese library science theorist, educator and practitioner in the first generation of New China who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of Chinese librarianship. He has made great achievements not only in the theoretical research, such as promoting the relfection of library functions, creating the “literature information exchange” theory and rebuilding the library science system, but also in librarianship practice, such as actively promoting construction of libraries, developing the education of library and information science, and guiding the library and information career for a long time.
