清末湖南南学会藏书考

摘要

文章通过对清末湖南南学会藏书缘由、来源、主题分布及其管理的研究，论述南学会在改进传统书院藏书模式、促进我国藏书从“私藏”转向“公藏”，以及促进湖南地区现代图书馆事业的发展方面产生的重要作用。%The Southern Society (Nan XueHui) is a famous institute which plays an important role in modern China’s history. This article focuses on its book collection, and studies that from the aspects of origins, subjects and management of the institute’s book collection. The study shows that the Southern Society (Nan XueHui) improved the Chinese traditional academy collection model, promoted the change from‘personal collection’ to‘public collection’, and made great contributions to the development of Hunan area’s librarianship.
