本文通过调查珠三角地区的老年读者的阅读喜好、阅读场所、阅读途径的基本信息,分析老年读者的信息需求特点,再以珠三角地区25家公共图书馆的实情出发,从图书馆的经费来源、场馆设置、活动频率、专职人员方面分析老年读者服务存在的问题,最终从明晰服务定位、建立合作实现"引资"、便捷图书阅览、开展电脑培训、设立专门场所、提供专门活动、配置专职服务人员等方面,提升我国公共图书馆老年服务水平.%The article analyses the characteristics of older readers' information needs on the basis of reading preferences, basic information reading places, and reading ways of old readers in the Pearl River Delta Region.Then, the paper summarizes the existing problems of the service for the aged readers from the aspects of funding source, building setting, activity frequency and full-time staff, starting from the situation of 25 Public Libraries in the Pearl River Delta.Finally, the paper gives some suggestions for the services for older readers from the aspects of clear positioning, establishing cooperation to achieve "promotion", convenient reading, carrying out computer training, setting up special places, holding special activities, and allocating full-time service personnel to improve the level of service for the aged readers in Chinese public libraries.
