English stylistics mainly investigates the linguistic characteristics of English genre, emphasizing that every style has its own unique phraseology. Many elements can be employed to analyze the English Stylistics such as phonetics, wording, syntactic, rhetoric and discourse. The paper, employing president Bush＇s, public speech as an example, investigates the characteristics of English Stylistics with the purpose that English-learners have a good command of pubic speeches＂ stylistic features so that they can achieve better communicative effect by employing different linguistic styles in different contexts.%文章运用英语文体学分析、研究和调查英语体裁的语言特点，着重提出每个文体自己独特的表达方式。分析英语文体学可以从以下几个方面着手：语音、词汇选择、句型选择、修辞手法以及篇章结构。文章选择布什总统发表公众演讲作为例子来研究其语言特点（如词汇及句型选择），旨在使英语学习者了解演说者演讲词的文体特点，并且懂得在不同的语言环境下运用不同的文体来达到更好的表达效果。
