英汉姓氏趋同性和趋异性研究

摘要

从语用功能层面来看，英汉姓氏作为语言符号发挥着极其重要的称呼指示功能。从丰富的范例分析可以看出，英汉先民所处的社会背景和生活环境直接影响到各自姓氏的产生和应用，英汉姓氏在起源、类别及应用等方面的异同揭示出两地姓氏在其称呼指示功能以外的语言和文化内涵。%　　Fromtheperspectiveofpragmaticfunctions,bothEnglishandChinesesurnames,aslanguagesymbols, fulfillthefunctionsofaddressanddistinguishingindividualsandcollectivities.Thesocialbackgroundsandtheliving conditionsofthetwonationsinantiquityhaddirectimpactontheemergenceandapplicationoftheirsurnames.Un-doubtedly,theanalysisoftheconvergencesandthedivergencesbetweenEnglishandChinesesurnameswillenrich thestudiesonsurnamecultureanddeepenourunderstandingofthelanguageconnotationsofthesurnamesaswell.
