2013年6月5日，国务院发布了《通用规范汉字表》，这个字表是在此前规范第一次发布近60年、重新发布近30年后，经过12年研制完成的。它在过去规范的基础上，用更为科学和有效的方法，获得大量的数据，采字和整理字际关系都有较为准确的量化数据作为依据。《字表》考虑到汉字发展规律和社会应用的现实，从我国社会主义新文化建设的需要出发，将过去的多个字表汇集在一起，便于查检、使用。本文进一步讨论《字表》研制的时代背景和《字表》发布在新时代的重要意义。也再次论证字表保持稳定的重要意义。%The State Council of China issued The List of General Standard Chinese Characters on June 5,2013.It took 12 years to accomplish this task on the basis of its first issue 60 years ago and re-issue 30 years ago.With a more scientific and effective method plus a lot of data,it got more accu-rate quantitative data in terms of diction and inter-word relations on accurate quantitative data.The List took into account the development law of Chinese characters and their social application and the needs of the construction of new socialist culture,and put several previous lists of Chinese vocabula-ries together for easier consultancy and application.This paper gives a further discussion of its histori-cal background and its significance in the new era.It also demonstrates the importance for maintaining its stability.
