On December 23, 1915, Tang jiyao and Ren kecheng sent a telegram to Yuan Shikai to demand the cancellation of the monarchy and the punishment to the men who advocated monarchy. At the same time, they send it to the provinces throughout the country, to request response and support. However, over the past 100 years, due to various reasons, there were so many versions of the latter and make people don't know which is true, which is false.
