008 Study of Poetic Characteristics from Poor Guangmu in,Zaju of the Yuan Dtynasty rnYAO Chong-Bing （College of Literature ,Yangtze University ,]ingzhou Hubei 434023） Abstract：There does exist poor GUANGMU（plotting） as Wang Guowei asserted. Any self-defense or constant criticism is not sensible, but making a reasonable explanation from an appropriate perspective is the key to the issue. As Chinese drama takes quas fundamenlal,it is natural that emotion is more emphasized than the story itself in traditional narrative literature when appreciating dramas. Audiences are more likely to receive dramas at the level of emotion,thus resulting in strong poetic characteristics in the narration of Zaju of the Yuan l）y nasty. Drama elements like GUANGMU and scene, however,are only ways of expressing emotion. Thus, they deserve little attention, bul the true and rich emotions are the main focuses.
