居民出行调查是重要的基础交通调查，利用乌鲁木齐市交通调查资料，可对市区居民出行的基本特征进行分析。本文依据2011年7月乌鲁木齐市居民出行情况的抽样调查统计数据，对乌鲁木齐市居民出行方式、出行率、出行时间等进行分析，针对高峰时段峰值强劲、出行耗时较长、公共交通需求大等特点。提出大力发展公交事业、完善对私家车的管理、增加路网密度、加快新城区建设等建议。%The survey on the travel behaviors of citizens in a city is a very important fundamental transportation survey. With all the materials collected on transportation in the city of Urumqi, we are able to analyze the characteristics of the citizens＇ travel behaviors. According to our sample survey on the citizens in Urumqi in July 2011, which includes an analysis of the way, fre- quency and time of their going around, we safely proposed some solutions to the strong peak in rush hours, the longer time it takes to go out, and the intense demand for public transportation, and so on. The solutions requires more dedication to public transportation, a better management over private cars, much more density of road network and a faster construction in the newly developed urban area.
