《史》《汉》疏密论

摘要

前人对《史记》和《汉书》之疏密多有论述，一般认为《史记》疏，《汉书》密。本文结合前人之论，以现代叙事理论中的叙事时间速度为切入点，论述《史记》《汉书》之疏密。首先，从总体上看，《汉书》之有书必录影响了叙事时间速度，是其密塞的重要原因，其他则未可一概而论，应具体情况具体分析；其次，疏密不仅体现在两书之比较上，在篇章内部也存在疏密不同的情况及其深层次的原因。%Many scholars have discussed about density in Historical Records and The History of Former Han Dynasty. Most of them thought that Historical Records is brief and The History of Former Han Dynasty is dense. This paper is to discuss the density of the two books with modern narrative theory. The conclusion is that the great number of article in The History of Former Han Dy- nasty has affected its speed of narrative time, so it looks dense. The problem of density is complicated and it' s discussed in specific settings.
