ObjectivesTo discuss the clinical effect of direct percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) treatment on the patients with acute myocardial infarction, and to provide reference and guidance for the clinical treatment.Methods 62 cases of elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction admitted to Chongqing Armed Police Corps Hospital from January 2014 to January 2016 were randomly divided into two groups: the observation group and the control group. The observation group was treated with direct PCIvia radial artery approach, and the control group was treated with routine operation, and the clinical effect of the two groups were compared.Results After clinical observation, the total effective rate of the observation group was 96.8%, the control group was 67.7%, the difference was statistically signiifcant (P<0.05). Conclusions In the elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction, the application of direct PCI treatmentvia radial artery can effectively control the patient's condition, improve the quality of patient's life, reduce the probability of complications, it is worth promoting.%目的：针对高龄急性心肌梗死患者，讨论临床实施经桡动脉途径直接经皮冠状动脉介入治疗（percutaneous coronary intervention，PCI）的效果，为日后的临床治疗提供参考与指导。方法选择武警重庆总队医院于2014年1月至2016年1月收治的62例高龄急性心肌梗死患者为研究对象，随机分为2组：观察组与对照组。观察组实施经桡动脉途径直接PCI治疗，对照组实施常规手术治疗，对比2组患者的临床疗效。结果经过临床对比，观察组患者治疗总有效率为96.8%，对照组患者治疗总有效率为67.7%，2组相比差异有统计学意义（P＜0.05）。结论针对高龄急性心肌梗死患者，应用经桡动脉途径直接PCI治疗，可有效控制患者病情，提高患者的生存质量，减少并发症的概率，值得推广。
