Wushu routine is an important feature to distinguish Chinese martial arts and others in the world ,which is also an important way to understand Chinese martial arts and its thoughts and culture. However,on the basis of historical materials,the thinking way of Metaphysics imprisons our horizon in the area of Origin to deduct for a long time,so that we still can’t explain the fundamental mechanism of Wushu routine reasonably until now. By using historical documents,expert interviews,logical deduction and other research methods to explain the changes of characteristic and related causes which is shown in the development of traditional Wushu routine from the theoretical perspective of genetics ,we can find:1)Traditional Wushu routine shows three periodical char⁃acteristics in turn,they are“Fighting Dance”→(play)cap→boxing;On the purpose of exercise,the corresponding changes are presented as“practice for fight⁃ing”→“practice for showing”→“practice for performing”;On the characteristics of skill,the corresponding characteristic of development are:body skill→body art→body culture;And the development of progression are classified as martial skills→types of feats→martial arts. 2)In the formation of motivation, Fighting Dance is facilitated by collective will,personal motivation,imagery of thinking and other factors. The formation of(play)cap is facilitated by the bidi⁃rectional needs of the society and individuals;Wushu techniques is formed by the needs of Wushu routine’s development,the geographical environment,the internalization and consciousness of traditional thoughts and culture. This study was designed to investigate the regular occurrence of traditional Wushu rou⁃tine,reveal the historical formation of Wushu routine and provide directional guidance and reflection for the current development of Wushu routine.%武术套路是中国武术区别于世界其他武技的重要特征，是了解中国武术乃至中国思想文化的重要窗口。然而，长期以来，在已有史料史据基础上，“形上学”的思维方式将我们的视野禁锢在起源学的领域加以推论，以至于我们今日仍无法合理解释武术套路这一现象发生的根本机制。运用文献史料、专家访谈以及逻辑演绎等研究方法，从发生学的理论视角阐析传统武术套路在漫长的发展历程中所呈现出的特征变化及其相关成因。结果认为：（1）传统武术套路在历史进程中，依次呈现出武舞→（打）套子→拳种3个阶段性特征；在习练目的上，相应依次呈现为“练为战”→“练为看”→“练为修”的目的变化；在技术特点上，相应依次表现出身体技术→身体艺术→身体文化的发展特点；在进阶归旨上相应依次归类为武技阶段→武艺阶段→武学阶段的发展趋势。（2）在形成动因上，武舞的形成是由集体意志、个人动机以及意象思维等因素促成；（打）套子的形成是由社会、个人的双向需要因素促成；拳种的形成是由武术套路自身发展的需要、地理环境的使然以及传统思想文化的内化自觉等因素而促成。
