康有为“去苦求乐”的观念，从近代转换的社会根源出发，与“至善”之道德观念、“竞关”之社会政治理想、“求真”之精神情感追求相互关联，具有吸取西方快乐主义幸福观、佛学“求真”观念等运思特质，在理论上与实践上均有意义，值得重新体悟。%Kang Youwei＇s concept of felicity, which is expressed as ＂getting rid of hardship and seeking happiness＂, is brought for- ward in the transition of modem social thought. This thought is associated with his social political thought expressed as ＂compet- ing for welfare＂, and his spiritual emotional thought of ＂seeking truth＂, as well as his ethical thought of ＂supreme goodness＂. There were new thoughts and questions raised, and new concept introduced and used in the development of Modem Chinese phi- losophy. Kang＇s concept of felicity is more valuable in the latter level. It is worthy of noticing the theory and practice sense in his exploration.
