基于语音可视化的大学生英语朗读语篇韵律特征研究

         

摘要

基于语音可视化的视角对大学生朗读语篇的韵律特征进行声学分析,结果显示:受试的朗读语料中调群切分过多,并以停顿作为调群切分的主要手段,停顿时常有不合英语语音规范的现象.受试朗读时无标记调核的比例明显低于本族语者;除了对比强调,受试有标记调核的落点还会出现在携带旧信息的实义项和无对比强调的语法项上,从而产生信息传递的偏误.受试的朗读语速偏慢,呈现多重音分布规律,连贯话语调整手段运用率低,体现了其母语汉语的"音节节拍语言"节奏模式的影响.这对高校英语语音教学和大学生的语音矫正具有一定的指导意义.%The study of the prosodic features of English reading speeches produced by college students is conducted from the perspective of experimental phonetics. Results of the acoustic analysis show that there's too much chunking in the speech corpus of college students, and pauses are applied as the main approach to realize division of chunking, which are often irrelevant to English phonetic rule. The percentage of unmarked tonicity in the speech corpus of college students is apparently lower than that of English native speakers. In addition to making contrast and emphasis, marked tonicity of college students can be content words carrying old messages or grammar items, which easily results in errors of information transfer. Compared with native speakers, college students speak slower, and their reading speeches present distribution of multiple stresses. Lack of adjustment methods in college students' connected speeches suggests influence of the rhythmic pattern of syllable-timed language in their mother tongue. The study should be of guiding significance for English phonetic teaching in universities and pronunciation correction of college students.
