A MODIFIED METHOD IN FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS WITH APPLICATION TO SIMPLE SHEARING

摘要

A modified technique called compatible stress iterative procedure isproposed in finite element analysis,which has well improved the conventionalweighted-residual method and was successful in dealing with the formation andlocalization process of shear banding.
