苯酚对红蓼种子萌发的影响

         

摘要

We investigated the seeds germination of Polygonum orientale L.in phenol aqueous solution,by seed soaking and hydroponics method to test the effect of phenol on seed germination of Polygonum orientale.The results showed that the germination rate of 5 mg/L phenol treatment group was reached to 44%,significantly higher than the control group(P < 0.05).It had no obvious difference of seed germination potential,seed rot rate and average germination days,compared with the control,when the range of phenol concentration was 0-160 mg/L.Germination index of 5 mg/L treatment group was better than the control group.The result of conductivity test showed that the treated seeds suffered a toxic injury of phenol in different degrees.In concluded,when the concentration of phenol was low (5 mg/L),the germination had obvious promoting effect on Polygonum seeds.However,when the concentration was below 160 mg/L,Polygonum seeds could germinate normally without any significant inhibitory effect.Therefore,it indicates that Polygonum has the capability to phytoremediate phenol and can be considered as one of the best plants to remove phenol for waster water treatment.%以红蓼种子作为试验材料,采取浸种、水培法,研究红蓼种子在不同质量浓度苯酚溶液中的萌发情况.结果表明,苯酚质量浓度为5 mg/L时,发芽率达到44%,明显高于对照组(P<0.05);在苯酚质量浓度为0~160 mg/L的范围内,种子发芽势、种子霉烂率及平均发芽天数与对照组相比无明显差异,质量浓度为5 mg/L处理组的发芽指数优于对照组;电导率法测定种子活力表明,试验组的种子均在不同程度上遭受了苯酚的毒害损伤,但综合结果得出,当水体中苯酚质量浓度较低(5 mg/L)时,其对红蓼种子萌发有明显的促进作用,且在苯酚质量浓度低于160 mg/L的范围内,红蓼种子均可正常萌发,未表现出显著的抑制作用.说明红蓼是一种较好的耐苯酚污染植物,其可作为一种良好的植物修复材料应用于水体中苯酚的处理.
