It is very important for developing circular economy to comprehensively utilize salt lakes, crude oil and natural gas resources in Qinghai province. The key project of comprehensive utilization of mainproducts and accessory products of megaton potassium chloride is being fulfilled by Qinghai salt lake potash Co. Ltd. The raw and processed materials, obtained from inorganic compounds of salt lakes, crude oil and natural gas, will be utilized effectively in the project. The products include potassium hydroxide, potassium carbonate, chloroethylene, polyvinylchloride, ammonia and carbamide. The technology and safety condition of the project are analyzed in the paper. The harm or hazard from the existent production enviromerit,and the aftereffect are also discussed.
