同乡会对农民工劳动收入的影响

摘要

As a formal organization based on the geopolitical relationship,townsmen association is re-sulted from migration.With the development of migration,townsmen associations are playing an im-portant role in improving their employment.Meanwhile scant research has been done on the impacts of townsman associations on the labor income of migrants.Using 2013 National Migrants Dynamic Moni-toring Survey data,the paper aims to probe into the situation of townsmen association among migrants and analyze the influence of townsman association on the labor income of migrants.In order to control endogeneity bias,propensity score matching method is applied.The study finds that migrants partici-pating townsmen association would have higher labor income.It suggests that townsmen association as a sort of social capital would have a positive effect on the employment of migrants.%同乡会因差序格局下乡城流动人口的自发聚集而形成，随着人口流动加剧，同乡会不但维系着来自于同一地域农民工的情感凝聚，甚至会促进他们劳动收入的增加。目前针对同乡会对农民工劳动收入影响的研究较少。基于2013年全国流动人口动态监测社会融合专题调查数据进行的研究发现，参加同乡会对农民工的劳动收入具有正向影响。因此，正确引导同乡会的发展，让同乡会在促进农民工就业、提升农民工劳动收入方面发挥更重要的作用，将有助于促进农民工的社会融合和市民化进程。
