改革开放时期第三代独秀作家群成员主要来自广西本土，生活在一个相对开放的时代，价值取向趋于多元化。既接受了民国时期新文学的营养，也受到新中国新时期文学的哺育，既阅读西方古典文学，也接受西方现代文学，呈现出多元化的文学选择，审美倾向上，有的表现出现实主义：有的表现为现代主义，有的表现为后现代主义。第一代独秀作家群实1现了新文学向广西的引进，第二代独秀作家群实现了新文学在广西的本土化，第三代独秀作家群意欲壮大力量，实现这个作家群的扩张。%The DuXiu writers mainly come from Guangxi during the period of reform and open, who live in a relatively open times. As social value orientation tends to be diversification, they acceptl literature from both the Republic of China and new period of new China. Moveover, they read classical as Well as modern literature of the west. Therefore, they express literary choices in diversification. Some of them are aesthetic inclination of realism, some are modernism, and the others are postmodernism. In terms of above aspects, the first generation of DuXiu writers achieve that they introduce new literature to Guangxi, the second realize the localilzation of new literature, and the third expand forces to realize the extension of DuXiu writers.
